DescriptionThe Foundation is the charitable arm of the casino and entertainment Company. The Foundation provides support to nonprofits that serve communities where the Company’s employees and their families live and work. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on three areas: older individuals, sustainability, and civic programs that are vital to a particular community. Grants for older individuals help them live longer, healthier, more fulfilling lives. Sustainability grants support diverse organizations that provide advocacy, facilitate education, and promote conservation and stewardship of the planet and its natural resources. Civic grants support civic organizations, charitable organizations, and faith-based groups that help address vital, unmet needs in cities and towns where employees and families live and work. Grants are awarded to health and wellness organizations, social-services providers, youth groups, programs for persons with disabilities, and scholarships.
