DescriptionThe Foundation supports overseas Catholic mission communities, primarily in less developed countries such as Africa, India, Central and South America. The Foundation awards grants for projects that demonstrate local support, have approval from the area diocesan ordinary, and show promise of becoming self-sustaining after completion. Requests must be for capital projects, such as construction, equipment, or vehicles. It does no accept requests for operating expenses, scholarships, tuition, endowment funds, travel expenses, or meeting costs. The Foundation generally does not consider grant requests for projects located within the continental United States. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
