DescriptionThe pet food Foundation supports organizations that help dogs in need find their loving homes. Since 2008, the Foundation has awarded 3,812 grants to shelters and rescue organizations. The Foundation’s Innovation grants (ranging between $10,000 and $25,000) will be awarded to organizations for creative programs aimed at increasing dog adoptions. Successful applicants will present a detailed plan of action that includes clear program objectives, strategies, and measures of success. Organizations applying for an Innovation grant must also demonstrate financial and organizational stability. The Foundation also awards Operation grants of $1,000. Applications for the grants are accepted between April 30 and June 30 of each year.
