Description

The Foundation offers support to grassroots groups engaged in activist organizing for economic, social, and environmental justice in the United States. Grants are awarded in the following areas: community organizing, anti-racism projects, economic justice, environmental protection, lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender/queer rights, disability issues, labor organizing, and Native American organizing. Grants are provided to small budget groups who struggle toward a broad vision of social justice, while opposing political and institutional oppression. Requests are reviewed six times per year. All requests must use a RESIST grant application form.
