DescriptionThe Foundation’s Every Day Capacity Building grants, sponsored by Toyota, offer support to nonprofits, such as “Friends Groups” whose missions are focused on the improvement and responsible use of public land sites throughout the nation. The Foundation seeks to strengthen these organizations and unleash their potential to serve their public lands. Through the Every Day grants, the Foundation aims to strengthen the stewardship of public lands by strengthening the Friends Groups. Stronger Friends Groups can better educate the public and attract more volunteers. With more volunteers, there’s a larger base of individuals to ask for support and with more support, it can offer more volunteer events. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
