DescriptionThe Foundation’s Stephen J. Brady STOP Hunger Scholarships honors students working to build awareness and mobilize their peers as catalysts for innovative solutions to ending hunger in U.S. communities in their lifetime. Students must be enrolled in an accredited institution in the United States and be able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to hunger-alleviation activities in their community. Up to five students will be selected as national winners, with each receiving a $5,000 scholarship and a $5,000 grant for their anti-hunger charity of choice. In addition, scholarship recipients and two family members will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., for the awards ceremony in June. The Foundation will also recognize 20 regional honorees with a $1,000 donation for their preferred hunger charity. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
