Andy Warhol Foundation For The Visual Arts

Category

: Arts & Culture

Description

The Foundation’s grantmaking focuses on curatorial programs at museums, artists organizations, and other organizations. Funding objectives include assisting in the innovative presentation of the visual arts with an emphasis on projects that cultivate new, expanded, and diverse audiences. Projects may include exhibitions, catalogs, education, audience development, and other organizational activity directly related to these areas. Artist-in-residence programs and the work of choreographers and performing artists where the visual arts are an inherent element of the production are eligible to apply. Proposals should be submitted in a one- to two-page letter describing the request. Applicants should include a project budget and a copy of their tax-exempt letter. The Foundation does not fund exhibitions or other activities directly related to the art of Andy Warhol. It also does not encourage projects that contemplate using the late artist’s name. There are no application forms.
