DescriptionThe Foundation promotes young global citizens making positive social change in their communities around the world. The Foundation partners with nonprofit educational, charitable, community, or faith-based organizations including public and private schools, youth organizations and clubs, civil society organizations, and other foundations who are devoted to youth leadership and empowerment. Teams of young global citizens (ages 13 to 25) generate and conduct social action projects and are guided by mentors (such as teachers, counselors, service learning coordinators, and program directors) affiliated with partner organizations. The Foundation is a crowdfunding platform devoted to young people conducting social action projects. The public can donate directly to a Project and 100 percent of all funds donated goes directly to the project. The Foundation seek and accepts tax-deductible donations for micro-grants for the Social Action Programs listed on the funding platform and accepts donations for the Foundation itself to help sustain its programs and operations as well as co-fund many of the Social Action Projects it receives.
