DescriptionThe Fund, a component of the Kenney Brothers Foundation, provides support to nonprofits that work to protect and restore watersheds in the Western United States with the emphasis being keeping Western rivers flowing with ample volumes of clean water. Grants are given to projects that provide a real opportunity to change western water policy on a local, state, or national level. Also of interest are those that defend environmental laws critical for the protection of all western rivers or focus on a specific strategy for protection of a biologically important western watershed. Grants are also awarded for research and analyzing issues that affect western water. Inquiry e-mails are accepted at any time. Paper inquiries will not be accepted.
