The North Face Explore Fund

DescriptionThe Fund is the philanthropic arm of the outdoor clothing company. It aims to inspire the next generation of young explorers and conservationists by supporting nonprofits throughout the country working to get youth outdoors to explore the natural world. Grants are awarded to organizations that encourage youth outdoor participation especially those focusing primarily on creating more connections of children to nature. Also of interest are those that increase access to both front and backcountry recreation and those that provide experiential education for both personal and environmental health. Funded programs should seek a specific audience and reach out to a specific community or place of interest. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
