Foundation For Financial Planning

DescriptionThe Foundation’s mission is to help people take control of their financial lives by connecting the financial planning community with people in need. Grants are awarded to nonprofits nationwide for community outreach and pro bono activities that utilize financial planning practitioners in the delivery of services. Preference is given to organizations that provide services to specific target audiences who are underserved by the market, in need of financial guidance, or in a financial crisis. Outreach efforts to military personnel and their families, Financial Life Skills education programs through high schools and/or youth organizations, and programs offered through community-based organizations are of particular interest. The Foundation encourages applications from programs that can be replicated on a regional or nationwide basis. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
