DescriptionThe Foundation promotes healthy lives and communities by supporting nonprofits in communities where the company has a meaningful presence. The Foundation’s giving focuses primarily on health, specifically childhood health and education, health literacy, and active lifestyles, as well as arts and culture, disaster relief, education, and economic response grants. Through Humana’s Communities Benefit program, the Foundation awards a one-time transformational grant of $100,000 to nonprofits located in each of the eligible locations. The grants are intended to help recipient organizations reach greater milestone goals and expand their impact. Application deadlines vary by locations. Applications must be submitted online.
