Volvo Adventure Competition

DescriptionThe Adventure, in partnership with the United Nations Environment Program, is an educational program that rewards environmental activities and the decision-makers of the future. To enter, students are asked to form a team of two to five members ages 13 to 16 (as of July 1, 2012). Teams perform an environmental project in their local community and submit the project via the online submission tool before the competition deadline of Jan. 31, 2013. Projects are judged and the best projects are selected for an all-expenses paid trip to the Company’s headquarters in Gotebog, Sweden where they can win first place ($10,000); second place ($6,000), or third place ($4,000).
