DescriptionAn annual program of the Association, sponsored by Follett Library Resources, the National School Library Program of the Year award honors school library programs that practice their commitment to meeting the needs of the changing school and library environment. The Award recognizes school library programs that ensure that the students and staff are effective users of ideas and information and empower learners to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. To be eligible, school librarian applicants must be individual-level of the Association. Additional information along with complete application guidelines can be found on the Web site.
