Description

The Company, a global company serving customers in over 90 countries, focuses its grantmaking on three areas: science education, food security, and community betterment. Science education grants seek to improve science literacy, enable science discovery and grow future talent in the sciences. The Company provides direct financial support in the form of grants to K-12 science and agricultural programs. It also awards grants to support youth leadership and development programs with an agriculture focus such as 4-H, FFA, and Agriculture Future of America. Food security grants promote food security and agricultural sustainability worldwide. Internationally, the Company favors food security projects that build agricultural capacity, teach sustainable farming techniques, increase crop yields and improve the economics of local agriculture. Within the U.S., the Company collaborates on food security projects that improve healthy food accessibility for at-risk populations, foster healthy food choices, provide nutritional education, and enable healthy food preparation. Community betterment grants provide flexible support to local organizations so they can address needs of their local community. An online application and other details can be found on the Web site.
