DescriptionThe Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the publisher, aims to make a difference by promoting literacy, learning, and great teaching. The Foundation provides support and adds capacity to great nonprofits already making a difference in local communities. It supports nonprofits that incubate innovative approaches to teaching and learning that can make an immediate difference in the lives of young people and educators. The Foundation also supports organizations that document, share, and encourage innovative practices inside and outside the classroom so that others can build upon proven efforts and adapt them to help the individuals and organizations they serve.
