FREE WEBINAR: Hit the Ground Running With Your New Board (Oct 16th)

Alaska Conservation Foundation

The Foundationís Rapid Response grants provide support for direct conservation advocacy to address unforeseen opportunities or threats of statewide or national significance. The opportunities or threats are expected to lead to more robust environmental policy and enduring conservation impact. Eligible applicants must be nonprofits engaged in Alaska conservation advocacy and be based in Alaska or have an Alaska-based program. Priority is given to activities that result in reducing destructive environmental activities; more favorable laws and policies for the environment; stronger regulation of these policies and enforcement of these laws; stronger environmental protections in place; and/or more sustainable economic development or activities. Letters of inquiry are requested. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
