Christian Aid Ministries
Category: Religion
DescriptionThe Organization’s primary purpose is to be a trustworthy and efficient channel for Amish, Mennonite, and other conservative Anabaptist groups and individuals to minister to physical and spiritual needs of people around the world. Controlled by a 10-member Board of Directors and operated by a six-member Executive Committee, the nonprofit aggregates contributions from concerned individuals and churches throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and other countries. The money is used to purchase food, clothing, medicines, seeds, Bibles, Bible storybooks, and other Christian literature for needy people. Funds are also used for clean-up and rebuild for natural disaster victims, support several church-planting efforts, operate two medical clinics, and provide resources for needy families to make their own living. In providing aid, the Organization seeks to help and encourage God’s people and bring the Gospel to a lost and dying world. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
