DescriptionThe Foundation, founded my cosmetics entrepreneur Mary Kay Ash, is committed to ending the epidemic of domestic violence. The Foundation annually awards grants of $20,000 to at least one domestic violence shelter in every state with the remaining funds distributed based on state population. Applying organizations must offer immediate overnight housing to women and children affected by domestic violence. Applications are available on the Web site.
