DescriptionThe Company’s Charitable Contributions program focuses on supporting charitable events or community programs that align with its business and community goals in the Company’s therapeutic areas. The Company provides charitable contributions to support indigent care programs, health fairs, patient education, public education, community organizations within a Bayer business community, and other charitable programs and organizations such as food banks, public libraries, and environmental protection programs. Grants are awarded in the following categories: civic and social service, education and workforce development (including environment and sustainability), arts and culture, and health and human services. The Company’s therapeutic areas are: dermatology, diabetes, oncology, women’s health care, general medicine (pulmonology/cardiology/infectious diseases), hematology/hemophilia, and neurology/multiple sclerosis.
