Description

The Committee is a ministry of the Presbyterian Church that’s a partnership of love, justice, and empowerment reflecting the image of God who stands with all people. The Organization is prepared to establish partnerships with groups in the United States who are oppressed by poverty or social systems; want to take charge of their own lives; have organized or are organizing to do something about their own conditions; have decided that what they are going to do will produce long-term changes for their lives and communities; and will control the programs they own and will benefit from them directly. Projects must be sensitive to the environment while accomplishing its goals and objectives. A project will not advocate violence as a means of accomplishing its goal or objectives. Additional information and an application can be found on the Web site.
