Jewish Funds For Justice
Category: Social Change
DescriptionThe Funds, founded as the result of a merger between the Shefa Fund and the Jewish Fund for Justice, was founded to affirm the historic commitment of the Jewish people to work for social and economic justice in the United States. Believing in the power of community-driven social change, the Funds support grassroots efforts to strengthen lower income neighborhoods across the United States. Grantmaking builds the capacity of local groups committed to organizing in low income communities for better medical care, higher wages, stronger schools, and healthier neighborhoods.
