DescriptionThe Foundation’s mission is to improve the health of New York State residents. Its 2012 Special Projects Fund awards enable the Foundation to be responsive to the opportunities that fit its mission but are outside of its three priority areas: expanding health insurance coverage; improving the management and prevention of diabetes; and encouraging the integration of substance use and mental health services. Awards are one-time, non-renewing funding opportunities. Eligible projects will take place over a specified period of time and demonstrate quantifiable results.
