Unitarian Universalist Veatch Program At Shelter Rock

DescriptionThe Program at Shelter Rock supports projects and programs throughout the United States that foster the growth and development of the denomination and that increase the involvement of Unitarian Universalists in action. The Program supports Unitarian Universalist and community organizations working on a variety of issues in different parts of the country. Consistent with the church’s mission, with its seven Unitarian Universalist principles, and with the church’s goal of building a movement for social change, grantmaking is focused on organizational/capacity building as well as specific program initiatives in 13 program areas arranged under seven clusters. The clusters are: Unitarian Universalism, making democracy work, civil rights and sustainable communities, economic equity and fairness, capacity building for social justice, New York metro region, and special projects fund.
