Description

The Company’s dealer grant program is intended to help the bicycle Company’s retail partners link closer to events in their community and to help support causes they believe in. Eligible applicants must be authorized Specialized bike dealers paired with a nonprofit. To qualify for support, all events, benefits, organizations, and projects must fit into one or more the three categories of advocacy: youth on bikes, access for bikes, or wellness on bikes. Youth on Bikes grants promote cycling from the very beginning. The Company is focused on charities and advocacy efforts exclusively dedicated to putting young people on bikes, making cycling safer for kids, or otherwise increasing the cycling population in the “under 18” demographic. Access for Bikes grants support efforts that increasing the number of miles of available trails, bike pathways, and other safe bike routes available to cyclists. This may also include the dedication of quality and conditions of existing routes and trails as well as maintaining their sustainable long-term access. Wellness on Bikes grants promote a healthier lifestyle involving cycling as a catalyst for change. Applications must be submitted electronically through the Specialized B2B Web site.
