DescriptionThe foundation's mission is to improve society through social activism. Of interest are the promotion of the positive portrayal of gays and lesbians n the media; voter registration activities; animal language research, animal companions, and eliminating the rare animal trade; environmental conservation, the reduction and elimination of the manufacture and sale of handguns in the United States; community-based social services that benefit gays and lesbians; and the development of mass transit and non-fossil fuel transportation.
