The Calvin K. Kazanjian Economics Foundation

Category

: Education

Description

The Foundation is a non-political education organization whose mission is to address the issue of economic illiteracy. The Foundation focuses on disseminating economic thinking and knowledge by all available means, producing materials, and conducting seminars and workshops that promote discussions and assist in the development of greater economic literacy. Priority is also given to projects and programs that promote the interchange of ideas and experiences among students of economic theory, those teaching it, and those engaged in solving practical economic problems in business and government. The Foundation also seeks to further those purposes (by financial support or other means) by cooperating with schools, colleges and universities, foundations, or other organizations. Applying new strategies for teaching economics including online and Web-based instruction is of particular interest. Requests are reviewed two times a year. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
