Description

The Trust was established in 1974 with the overall goal to relieve poverty and suffering. This includes protecting the environment, the support of children and adults with learning disabilities, assisting smaller charities whose aim is to safeguard sick, injured, threatened or abandoned animals, and emergency relief for victims of disasters. Central to the Trust is its support of Indigenous peoples, particularly Native Americans. Grants to Indigenous peoples aim to provide physical and spiritual uplift through seed grants to groups and organizations with self-help and self-sufficiency goals. Priority is given to projects that are and remain environmentally friendly and in harmony with nature. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
