DescriptionThe Foundation is committed to improving society through social activism. Giving is targeted toward the following areas: national and local organizations that serve the needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities; educational, research, and recreational opportunities for the local LGBT community via access to the Internet; the reduction and elimination of the manufacture and sale of handguns in the United States; voter registration; and animal language research, service animals, and eliminating the rare animal trade. The Foundation accepts letters of inquiry year round via its Web site. Additional information about Bohnett and the about the Foundation is also found on the Web site.
