DescriptionThe Foundation’s primary funding interest is education. The Foundation is interested in funding proposals utilizing innovative practices in K-12 education throughout the United States. Of particular interest are curricular and school reform initiatives and the preparation of professional development opportunities for teachers. The latter grants are targeted toward programs that support individuals of high ability and diverse background to enter and remain in K-12 teaching. The Foundation also provides modest support for activities located in Marion, Mass., where the Foundation is headquartered.
