DescriptionThe Foundation’s normal grantmaking focuses on healthcare training, research, and service system innovation that will ensure the well-being of older adults. The Foundation’s overall goal is to increase the nation’s capacity to provide effective and affordable care to its rapidly increasing elderly population. Funds are dispersed in two areas: academic geriatrics and training to strengthen the geriatric training of America’s physicians, nurses, and social workers; and integrating and improving health-related services for projects that demonstrate integrated financing and care delivery for comprehensive geriatric service. A letter of inquiry, no longer than five pages is requested. Do not send correspondence via fax or e-mail.
