DescriptionFounded by the founder of Revlon cosmetics, the Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the following areas: urban affairs, New York City, Jewish philanthropy and education, biomedical research, and education. Revson’s personal philanthropy was “to spread the knowledge” and “the improvement of human life.” Grants are awarded to nonprofits in both the United States and Israel. The Foundation requests that prospective applicants send a letter of inquiry. Letters should be no longer than two pages. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
