DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the media company. It focuses its grantmaking on projects aligned with its mission. The Foundation seeks to enable a vision of the future that reflects the mission of the Company: turning dreamers into doers. The Foundation believes that an appreciation and mastery of the home arts and domestic sciences, nutrition, and horticulture are key building blocks that foster individual self-esteem, strengthen family, and build community while promoting economic well being. The Foundation targets its grantmaking to programs that afford women and families access to the knowledge and resources they need to build better lives. Letters of inquiry are requested. Full proposals are not accepted by fax or e-mail. Unsolicited full grant proposals will not be reviewed. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
