Chaim Schwartz Foundation

Category: Arts & Culture

The Foundation is dedicated to preserving and enriching Yiddishkeit, the Yiddish language, culture, theater, and art. Named after Chaim Schwartz, a poet, Yiddishist, and social activist, the Foundation was created by his daughter, to carry on his life’s work. Proposals may be project specific or for general support. The Foundation is particularly interested in projects that continue on the social justice heritage of Yiddishkeit. A letter of inquiry is requested. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
