The Lego Children’s Fund

Description

The Fund focuses its grantmaking on local and national organizations that support innovative projects and programming to cultivate and celebrate a child’s exploration of personal creativity and creative problem-solving in all forms. The Fund supports local and national communities, organizations and groups who cater to children ages birth-14 with special considerations for groups that support disadvantaged children; groups that are supported by LEGO employee volunteers; special projects or programs designed to elevate a child’s opportunities for exploring creativity; and organizations serving Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. The Fund awards project grants, not general support grants. Potential applicants must complete an eligibility quiz, be approved, and invited to submit a grant proposal. The Fund has four deadlines annually: January 15, April 15, July 15, and October 15. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
