DescriptionPart of the United States Department of Commerce, the Administration, has announced funding for its Global Climate Change Incentive Fund Program. The Program provides support for projects that foster economic competitiveness while enhancing environment quality. Grants are awarded for a variety of sustainability focused projects, including renewable energy end-products, the greening of existing manufacturing functions or processes, and the creation of certified green facilities. Priority will be given to projects that create jobs through and increase private capital investment in initiatives to limit the nation’s dependence on fossil fuels, enhance energy efficiency, curb greenhouse gas emissions, and protect natural systems.
