DescriptionThe Foundation’s mission is to sustain, expand, and protect the legacy of contemporary artist Keith Haring. It supports organizations involved in the education, research, and care related to HIV/AIDS as well as organizations that assist underprivileged children. The Foundation was also charged with maintaining and protecting Haring’s artistic legacy after his death. In addition to maintaining a collection of art along with Haring’s archives, the Foundation also funds exhibitions, educational programs, acquisitions, and publications that serve to contextualize and illuminate the late artist’s work and philosophy. To apply for funding, the Foundation requests that applicants send seven copies of a full proposal. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
