DescriptionThe Foundation’s goal is to improve the quality of life for seniors in the United States and Canada. The philanthropic arm of one of the world’s largest franchise networks providing non-medical home care and companionship services for seniors, the Foundation began its grantmaking activities in 2004. Funding interests include age-related research and development; advocacy for the health and well being of older adults; and programs that promote community inclusion for seniors, especially those facing the problem of isolation. Funding programs must have been in existence for at least one year and most provide direct care, service, or treatment to seniors. The Foundation only accepts letters of inquiry through its Web site.
