Description

Founded by lumber and paper products company heir, Dave Weyerhauser, the Foundation provides grants to Christ-centered organizations that share their faith in Jesus Christ with people throughout the world. Grants are made to organizations and projects that address the following themes: leadership, poverty, reconciliation and justice, relational evangelism and discipleship, and children and risk. Grants are generally made in support of programs and operating expenses and rarely to support capital projects. Domestically, grants are made to organizations that have a national impact except for local organizations serving the citizens of Tacoma, Pierce County, and the Puget Sound region. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
