Horace Mann Companies

Category: Education

The insurance Company and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum have partnered to offer 50 teachers a five-day fellowship to study the life and legacy of our 16th president. The fellowship is open to any full-time teacher in grades K-12 in any discipline in the United States except for residents of Kentucky, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii or anyone who has ever won a previous Horace Mann-Abraham Lincoln Fellowship. The curriculum is geared toward teachers of students in grades 4-12. No special knowledge of history or Lincoln is required. The Fellowship includes transportation, accommodations, and most meals. Additional information and an online application are available on the Web site.
