DescriptionThe Foundation supports topics and activities related to Ibero-America (Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries of the Western World), Spain, Portugal, and Antarctica. Priority is given to work in economic policy, governance, and environmental policy. The Foundation is placing a new emphasis on stressing collaborations between the nongovernmental environmental community and the private sector. Activities that offer innovative solutions to many of the problems facing these regions and incorporating new mechanisms for addressing environmental, economic, political, and social issues are of interest. Activities may include research projects and workshops.
