DescriptionThe Foundation promotes improved health and quality of life for the people of Northern California. As a continuation of its Responsive Grants program, the Foundation invites organizations to tell the Foundation what health needs and concerns are in their communities and how a Foundation grant will address them. Applicants must serve people living in one or more of the 26 counties of Sierra Health’s funding region. Priority is given to projects that improve health and quality of life; make the case for need related to the population to be served; clearly identify how the project will improve health; demonstrated the anticipated positive impact; and leverage resources and/or demonstrate sustainability, if applicable.
