DescriptionThe Foundation, the legacy of the creator of the Hoover vacuum cleaner, focuses its grantmaking on three areas: community, education, and environment. The Foundation prefers to take a leadership role in funding unique opportunities that provide solutions to issues related to the community, education, and the environment. The Foundation has two primary geographic areas of funding: within Stark County, Ohio and outside of Stark County with a concentrated focus on Southern Florida. The Foundation accepts letters of intent. Proposals are by invitation only. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
