DescriptionThe Foundation’s Classroom Innovators grants support teachers who are passionate about making science and mathematics more engaging for their students. Salaries, facility maintenance, textbooks, video production, audio-visual equipment, and education research will not be funded nor will computer hardware. Grants support schools serving students in grades 6-12. (The Foundation also has a separate grant for students in grades K-5.) Proposals are encouraged from public and private schools around the country. The Foundation also has a special commitment to support projects in regions where Toshiba America Group companies have offices. Grants for $5,000 or less are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Grant requests for more than $5,000 are reviewed twice a year. The deadline is for grant requests over $5,000.
