DescriptionThe Foundation, created in 1994 by Saul Kaplan, has two grantmaking priorities: care and support services to individuals with HIV and services to the gay and lesbian community that promotes and supports its formation, growth, identity, general wellbeing, and social and legal rights. The Foundation awards grants for new and ongoing programs and projects, general operational and administrative support, capital and building campaigns, and other unique and creative projects. The Foundation does consider uninvited proposals, but encourages those who’s current or proposed programs or activities are consistent with the Foundation’s mission to complete an online, introductory information form found on the Web site. There are no deadlines. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
