DescriptionThe Trust supports charitable organizations that encourage the principles of individual self-reliance, self-sacrifice, thrift, industry, and humility. Also of interest are organizations that relieve human suffering through scientific research and education regarding disease; assisting youth with troubled childhoods and emotional disorders; addressing the concerns of the elderly; and helping humankind during times of natural and human-made disasters. Grants are also awarded to organizations that foster individual self-worth and dignity and emphasize the classical fine arts; those that develop physical health and spiritual well-being through vigorous athletic activity; and promote world peace and understanding through the improvement of national and international means of travel by air, rail, and sea. The Trust requests a letter of inquiry no longer than three pages. Full proposals are by invitation only. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
