DescriptionThe Fund’s mission is to continue the philanthropic work of its namesake through grants to qualified nonprofits in Boston, the state of Massachusetts, and in the greater New England area that further Amelia Peabody’s lifelong interests. Grants are awarded in health (both human and animal), visual arts, land conservation, and historic preservation. The Fund also makes grants in support of projects and capital purchases to nonprofit social service and youth service organizations in the greater Boston area. All grants are made in support of specific projects or capital purchases to achieve specific objectives. Proposals are not accepted by fax or e-mail.
