The Dickler Family Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation was founded in 1996 by Ruth and Gerald Dickler who had long been concerned with issues of equity, opportunity, and justice for all people. They had hoped to extend the results of their hard work and good fortune to others and to encourage their children, grandchildren, and future generations to carry on their long tradition of giving. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on grassroots community development abroad, domestic and international reproductive health, and early childhood education in the New York Public Schools. They also support reforms related to these programs.
