DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking in the areas of earth protection, volunteerism and civic engagement, and the promotion of philanthropy. Earth protection grants support energy conservation and efficiency, family planning, and science education. Volunteerism and civic engagement grants provide help with the staffing, training and resources needed to support the effective management of volunteer efforts within a community. Philanthropy grants are awarded to organizations such as the Council on Foundations and Philanthropy Roundtable. Letters of inquiry are required. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
