DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking on three areas: programs that launch and expand innovative K-12 public education initiatives; seminal opportunities to improve and extend environmental education; and wildlife conservation and restoration and projects in Northern California. The Foundation also makes grants to support research and higher education in finance. Board members meet quarterly to review proposals. The Foundation encourages applicants to phone or write before submitting a proposal to determine whether their proposed program falls within the Foundation’s areas of interest. The Foundation does not have a standard application form. Additional information is available on the Web site.
